Chaplaincy SA is a Nationally recognized, independent, self-regulated, Non-Governmental Organization NGO registered in accordance with the National Corporate Registry of South Africa.
We are a national network of Chaplains, Pastors, First Responders from many different churches, denominations and communities who are committed to demonstrating the Christian faith in a hands-on, compassionate and meaningful way. It is governed by a group of Directors, known as the Executive Board, who is responsible for oversight and the proper management of its resources, programs and operations.
Chaplaincy Sa links Chaplains together with common objectives, practice, training and support. Our Chaplains are represented by a broad spectrum of nationalities, backgrounds, ages and localities from within the South African Christian Churches. They are purposely trained men and women with a passionate commitment to serve their community with care.
We are looking forward to you becoming a Community Chaplain and First responder working beside us to help us improve on our broken world. Registered as a non-profit company in South Africa, accredit by the IAC-International Accreditation for Chaplains and United Nations consultative status, CSA trains, equips, places, and supports Christian volunteers as Community Chaplains. These Chaplains assist people facing physical, spiritual, and emotional crises. Their goal is to provide help wherever people gather, addressing both immediate and long-term need.
